Watermelon Cooler

Watermelon always signals the onset of summer. Watermelon is one of my favorite fruit. No school, sleeping late and backyard barbecue, I can’t think about any other cooler that evokes emotions in me. This cooler is very famous in my home. It’s the only way to say kick-off those shoes and dawn the flip-flops; summer is here.

  • 4 to 5 cups of Seedless watermelon cut into chunks
  • 5 to 10 Mint leaves roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar
  • ½ Cucumber peeled and cut into chunks
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • Ice cubes
Instructions
  1. In a blender place all the ingredients and process it until smooth.

  2. Now pour the mixture through a strainer into a bowl pressing the solid with a wooden spoon to get all the liquid out.

  3. Then place the watermelon mixture back into your blender and blend it.

  4. Now add ice cubes to it.

  5. NOTE

Depending on how slushy you want, add your ice cubes accordingly. I wanted mine very slushy, so I used lots of ice cubes.

OUR DINE TABLE
  1. This watermelon sweetness will temper you up for a most refreshing treat. My jars are filled and my pink striped straws just make it so darn cute. Is there anyone who doesn’t like cuteness?
