Turkey Sausage Pizza
Today in the evening I have arranged a pizza night at my home where five of my buddies are going to enjoy few varieties of pizza with a glass of red wine. I’m super excited about it. And since I have tried varieties of pizza, today I’m going to try a new variety i.e., turkey sausage pizza. It’s really yum! I love it…
Today in the evening I have arranged a pizza night at my home where five of my buddies are going to enjoy few varieties of pizza with a glass of red wine.
- ½ cup Fresh mushroom sliced
- ½ cup Onion sliced
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
- ½ cup Pizza sauce
- ½ cup Green pepper chopped
- ¾ lb (350 gram) Turkey sausage links
- 1 lb (450 gram) Frozen bread dough thawed
- 3 tablespoon Butter
- Cooking spray
First press the dough with a greased finger on to a 12-inch pizza pan coated with cooking spray.
Now prick the dough thoroughly with a fork and bake at 400° F or 200° C for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Meanwhile, in a skillet, add the butter and cook the sausage, mushroom, onion and green pepper over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink and break it into the crumble.
Once cooked, keep it aside.
Now spread the crust with Pizza Sauce and top it with the cooked sausage mixture and sprinkle it with cheese.
Then bake it once again for 12 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
The hot turkey sausage pizza is ready. Just take a pizza cutter and roll over it to have a slice out.
