Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves minced
  • 4 ½ cup Chicken broth or water
  • 3 cups Jasmine rice
  • 1⁄3 cup Fresh ginger finely chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon Salt
  • Bunch of Fresh cilantro trimmed and chopped
Instructions
  1. Wash the rice under cold running water until water runs clear.

  2. Then drain the rice.

  3. Now in a large saucepan heat oil over medium-high heat.

  4. Add ginger, garlic and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  5. Now add the Broth and salt.

  6. Then sprinkle the cilantro over it and bring to boil.

  7. Add the rice grain, reduce the heat to medium-low and cover it with a lid.

  8. Let the rice steam for about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.

  9. Then remove from the heat and let it stand covered for 10 minutes.

SERVE
  1. Fluff the rice with a fork and place it in a bowl and serve.
