Spaghetti with Italian Sausage
Spaghetti is the most common type of pasta which is available everywhere. And everyone has its own idea of making spaghetti. Even I too have my own way of making this versatile ingredient. So, I’m going to make one and you all check out whether this idea matches your style.

- 8 oz (225 gram) Spaghetti
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- ½ lb (225 gram) Italian sausage
- 6.5 oz (185 gram) Tomato sauce
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Dried basil
- 14.5 oz (415 gram) Tomatoes diced
- 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese grated
In a skillet over medium heat, add the sausage and stir it well until it turns brown and keeps it aside.
Then simmer over medium-low heat, at least for 1 hour until it gets thickened.
Meanwhile, in a pot bring salted water to a boil.
Then add the spaghetti and boil it for 10 minutes, until al Dante.
Once it is done, drain the water through a colander.
Now add this boiled spaghetti over the sauce and mix it well.
Switch off the flame and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.
The spaghetti with Italian sausage is ready to serve hot.
This is a simple dish yet delicious. You can prepare this dish for your kids as tiffin which I’m sure they will love. It’s not a too heavy dish.
