It’s a weekend complete one-pot dish to relish your holiday mood.

Ingredients
FOR THE SCHEZWAN CHICKEN
  • 2 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 1 Chicken breast cubed
  • 3 tablespoon Cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon Wheat flour
FOR THE GRAVY
  • 2 tablespoon Red chili sauce
  • 3 Green chilies chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 spring Onion chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger julienned
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet and spicy red chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted tomato sauce
  • 1 Onion diced
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tablespoon Dark soy sauce
FOR THE NOODLES
  • 7 oz (200 gram) Hakka noodles boiled
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
  • 3 Green chilies chopped
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar
  • 1 spring Green onions chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 4 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
FOR THE GRILLED VEGGIES
  • 1 Carrot blanched
  • ¼ cup Florets blanched
  • 1 Red bell pepper diced
  • 1 Yellow bell pepper diced
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 8 Green beans blanched
  • Olive oil to cook
FOR GARNISHING
  • 2 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • Spring onion green chopped; optional
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
  • Sizzler plate
  • Vinegar
  • Charcoal optional
Instructions
FOR MARINATING THE CHICKEN
  1. In a bowl add all the ingredients, except the cubed chicken pieces and stir it well.

  2. Now add the cubed chicken pieces and give a good stir so that the chicken pieces are well coated and let it rest for 15 minutes.

MEANWHILE PREPARE THE GRILLED VEGETABLES
  1. Cut the circular part from the red and yellow bell pepper and keep it aside.

  2. Now blanch the carrot, beans, and broccoli.

  3. Dice the blanched carrot into thin pieces.

  4. Sprinkle the vegetables with salt and pepper.

  5. Then in a grilled pan, drizzle some olive oil and heat it up.

  6. Now grill the vegetables in batches until they turn tender and lightly charred all over, for about 10 minutes.

  7. Once done keep the grilled vegetables aside.

FOR MAKING THE SCHEZWAN CHICKEN
  1. Now take the marinated chicken and make it ready to fry.

  2. In a shallow frying pan, pour oil and let it get heated enough for shallow frying.

  3. Fry the chicken pieces till they turn crispy on the outer side.

  4. Now put the fried chicken pieces on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.

NOW FOR MAKING THE SCHEZWAN GRAVY
  1. In a wok, heat oil.

  2. Add the chopped ginger and spring onion green and sauté it till it becomes fragrant.

  3. Now add green chilies, chopped onion and stir it until the onion becomes translucent.

  4. Add all the sauce, white vinegar, black pepper and salt and stir them well.

  5. Then add the fried chicken pieces to the wok.

  6. Give a stir and add ½ cup of water and let it cook on simmer for about 7 minutes till the gravy thickens.

LET’S PREPARE THE NOODLES
  1. In a wok, heat some oil and then add spring onion into it.

  2. Sauté it for few seconds.

  3. Now add the boiled noodles, soy sauce, chopped green chilies, white vinegar and mix them very well.

  4. Sprinkle black pepper powder and salt into the noodle and combine it well.

  5. On a low heat cook it for 5 to 7 minutes.

NOW FOR PREPARING THE SIZZLE PLATE
  1. Put the sizzler plate for heating on direct flame.

  2. When it is heating, brush the plate with oil.

  3. Now add the noodles and schezwan chicken on the hot plate.

  4. Arrange the grilled veggies on the top and side of the plate.

  5. Garnish it with sesame seeds and spring onion.

  6. Now for some sizzling action, pour some vinegar on the base of the plate.

  7. NOTE

    If you don’t want to put vinegar, then you can put charcoal on the plate which will give a smoky flavor too.

SERVE
  1. Serve it immediately to feel the sizzling flavor along with the sizzling sound of the sizzler.

  1. It’s a delightful complete dish. Be a kid or teenager or an adult, it’s a dish which will be favorite for all beyond belief. Here you will get baked, steamed, sautéed, fried all on the same plate with a unique way of serving which will surely grab your eyes. You can have this sizzler along with a soft Apple and Ginger Cocktail or with a Light Corn Soup.
