Ingredients
  • 1 lb (450 gram) Rhubarb cleaned and cut crosswise into ½ inch slices
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 ½ cup Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Fresh rosemary leaves chopped
  • ½ cup Lemon juice
  • Soda water or carbonated water
Instructions
  1. Put rhubarb pieces, water, sugar, and rosemary leaves into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.

  2. Then reduce the heat to simmer and boil for another 15 minutes.

  3. NOTE

    Rhubarb pieces will disintegrate.

  4. Now remove from heat, strain off the solid with a fine mesh strainer.

  5. Then add lemon juice to it.

  6. NOTE

    If it is too sweet to taste then add little more lemon juice.

  7. Now chill it until ready to serve.

SERVE
  1. To serve, fill a quarter to a half of the glass with rhubarb, lemon, rosemary syrup and rest with soda water.
