Ingredients
  • 2 cups (½ lb) Elbow pasta (Macaroni Pasta)
  • 3 to 4 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
FOR SAUCE
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 3 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • ¼ cup Cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Heat the pan over medium-low heat and add butter.

  2. Once it melts, add the flour.

  3. Mix it and cook it for about a minute, be sure it does not get crumble.

  4. Add the milk gradually while constantly stirring till you get a nice thick sauce.

  5. Add salt and pepper and then switch off the flame.

  6. Add the grated cheese and cover the pan. The heat of the sauce will melt the cheese.

  7. In the meantime, cook the pasta as per the package instructions. Take a deep big pot with plenty of water and bring it to boil.

  8. Add salt to it.

  9. Cook till the pasta turns soft but not mushy.

  10. Drain the water and add it to the sauce.

  11. Mix the pasta with the sauce until the sauce coats well.

  12. NOW BAKING IT WILL TAKE TO WHOLE NEW LEVEL

    So put the macaroni cheese in a casserole dish or any other baking dish.

  13. Spread the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese on top.

  14. Drizzle few drops of olive oil on top of the breadcrumbs.

  15. Preheat the oven.

  16. Bake it at 400⁰ F (200⁰ C) for about 20 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and the top is browned.

  17. SERVE

    Baked macaroni and cheese is ready to serve.
