Ingredients
  • ¾ lb (340 gram) Cod fillets
  • 1 Large egg beaten
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Lemon pepper seasoning
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Dry breadcrumbs
  • Butter flavored cooking spray
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F or 200° C.

  2. Now in a mixing bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and the seasonings.

  3. In separate two bowls, add egg and flour.

  4. Then take the fish fillets and dip the fillets in flour, shake off excess and then dip in egg and finally in breadcrumbs mixture.

  5. Pat it well so that it’s evenly coated.

  6. Now place it on a baking sheet coated with butter spray and bake it for 12 minutes or until the fish begins to flake easily turning it once.

SERVE
  1. Your baked homemade fish sticks are absolutely ready for a juicy bite.

  1. In this recipe, I preferred to use butter cooking spray over oil cooking spray which turned it to be yummier. It’s a healthy version of fish stick recipe and an excellent way to fix firm-fleshed fish. This fish is best served with Tartar Sauce or Mayonnaise Dip or a dash of lemon juice if you like it to zing.
