Chicken is easily available almost in everyone’s’ kitchen. Hence, there are many recipes related to it. Sometimes we love to try out-of-the-box recipes to get a different taste as well as to get accustomed to it. Last night, I prepared this recipe for dinner and unknowingly it turned out awesome.

Chicken is easily available almost in everyone’s’ kitchen. Hence, there are many recipes related to it. Sometimes we love to try out-of-the-box recipes to get a different taste as well as to get accustomed to it. Last night, I prepared this recipe for dinner and unknowingly it turned out awesome.

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 Whole chicken cut into pieces
  • 1 clove Garlic crushed
  • 4.5 oz (125 gram) Sliced mushroom rinsed and preserve the liquid
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 16 oz (450 gram) Tomatoes diced and drained
  • ¼ cup Black olive pitted
  • 1⁄3 cup Soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, add the flour.

  2. Now dress the chicken pieces in the flour until it is well coated.

  3. Meanwhile, heat a large skillet.

  4. Add oil over medium-high heat.

  5. Then add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil and let it get browned.

  6. Meanwhile, in another saucepan add the reserved mushroom rinsed liquid.

  7. Then add the tomatoes, garlic and soy sauce and stir it to combine.

  8. Now add the browned fried chicken and onion and combine them together.

  9. Cover the lead and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and turned tender.

  10. Now stir in mushroom, olive and season it with salt and bring to boil.

  11. When it turns slightly thick, switch off the flame.

SERVE
  1. The mushroom chicken is ready to serve hot.

OUR DINE TABLE
  1. It’s a light dish with a combined flavor of mushroom and fried chicken pieces. I personally love fried chicken pieces. So rather than preparing the same old Chinese gravy for fried chicken pieces, give a try to make this Conti-gravy taste different. You can have this side dish simply with Steamed Rice to fulfill your appetite.
