Mocha Ice Cream
It’s a lovely homemade ice cream which has a rich flavor of brewed coffee and is very much creamy. If you are a fond of chocolate and love to explore with ice cream, here is the new one for you where we get the two in one flavor of chocolate cum coffee.

- 8 oz (225 gram) Semi-sweet chocolate square chopped
- 2 cups Whipping cream
- ¼ cup Strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup Half and half
- 3 tablespoon Coffee granules
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 4 Egg yolks
In a 1-quart microwave safe bowl, microwave the chocolate at high 1 ½ minute until it gets melted.
Then stir in the Brewed Coffee and set this mixture aside.
Now in a saucepan over medium-high heat, add whipping cream, half and half, coffee granules and ½ cup sugar and bring it to boil.
Stir it until the sugar and coffee get dissolved.
Then in a bowl, beat the yolk and the remaining cup sugar with an electric mixture until it turns thick.
With mixer at low speed, gradually pour the hot cream mixture into egg yolk mixture and bring it to the saucepan.
Now over medium heat stir it constantly for 8 minutes, until mixture turns thick and coats the spoon.
Once done, remove it from the heat.
Now stir in chocolate mixture.
Cover the lid and chill it for about 2 hours.
After it gets chilled, pour this mixture into a freezer container and freeze it according to manufacturer’s instruction.
Pack the freezer with ice and rock salt and let it stand for 1 hour.
Once it is done, serve this ice cream with chocolate chips.
