Mint & Coriander Dip

A very popular and delicious dip which goes perfectly with curries and fried items made with fresh herbs and spices.

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ bunch Fresh coriander
  • 1 bunch Mint leaves
  • 8 Spinach leaves optional
  • 2 teaspoon Green chilies or jalapeno chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger finely chopped
  • 1.5 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ teaspoon Roasted cumin seed
  • ½ teaspoon Black salt
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar optional
Instructions
  1. Pluck the mint leaves from the stem.

  2. Chop coriander leaves along with the soft stems of the coriander.

  3. Wash all the green leaves and chilies with enough water.

  4. Now add all the ingredients in a mixer jar and grind to a smooth paste by adding approx. ½ cup water (if needed).

  5. NOTE

    Take out the dip from the mixer jar and keep it refrigerated in a glass jar or bottle by covering the lead.

OUR PANTRY
  1. Mint & coriander dip can be served as a dip for Snacks, spread for Sandwiches or Rolls and as a side dish too.
