Ham Swiss and Egg Brioche Sandwich
Breakfast is very important in our daily life. Being a nutritionist I always advise all not to skip breakfast, instead to have something which is packed full of stuff to fulfill your appetite for rest of the day. My today’s version of the sandwich is relatively simple to slap together in the morning and being a cheese lover I’m using Swiss cheese which goes very well with ham.

Breakfast is very important in our daily life. Being a nutritionist I always advise all not to skip breakfast, instead to have something which is packed full of stuff to fulfill your appetite for rest of the day. - 2 slices of Ham
- 1 Brioche Bun
- Butter softened
- 2 slices of Sweet cheese
- Salt for seasoning
- Pepper for seasoning
- 1 Egg fried
- 1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoon Honey Dijon mustard
-
Over a medium flame, heat a skillet.
-
Then slice the Brioche Bun in half.
-
Spread butter in the faces of the brioche halves.
-
Now place the bread in the skillet, buttered side down and toast it until the buttered sides are golden in color.
-
Once done, remove it from the heat.
-
Now turn the buttered side of the bun up and put 1 half with ham and another half with cheese.
-
Then at 350° F or 175° C bake both the halves until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
-
Once it is done, remove it from the oven and place it on a plate.
-
Spread honey Dijon mustard over the ham.
-
Now over a medium-high heat, put a skillet and pour the vegetable oil.
-
When the oil turns hot, crack the egg at the center of the skillet and make it a sunny side up.
-
Then place the egg on top of the ham.
-
Season the egg with salt and pepper.
-
Now place the cheesy half of the brioche bun on top of the egg.
-
Your burger is ready for a quick serve.
-
It’s a complete package of egg, Swiss cheese, and ham which goes very well with a cup of Hot Coffee. The presence of the cheese makes the sandwich very cheesy and the sunny side up has a bright attraction. It is really a wonderful sandwich for a morning breakfast indeed.
