Grilled Lobster Roll

Lobster, the name is enough for watering your mouth. One of the things I love about food, like an old song or a familiar smell, is how it can trigger memories. For me, this grilled lobster rolls always brings back my childhood memories. My mom used to prepare it for me and my friends. It tastes awesome. Today my mom is out of the station and I’m missing her a lot. So I decided to prepare this recipe to recall my childhood memories with my mom.

Ingredients
  • 3 oz (85 gram) Butter
  • 6 Submarine rolls
  • 1 stick Celery
  • 18 oz (500 gram) Cooked lobster meat
  • 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • ½ Iceberg lettuce
  • Black pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat a griddle pan until really hot.

  2. Then melt the butter.

  3. Now butter the rolls on both the sides.

  4. Grill the rolls on both sides until toasted and lightly charred.

  5. Now trim and dice the celery.

  6. Chop the lobster meat and combine it with the mayonnaise.

  7. Then season it with sea salt and black pepper to taste.

  8. Now open your warm grilled rolls.

  9. Shred and pile the lettuce inside of each one and top with the lobster mixture.

SERVE
  1. Close the rolls and serve it immediately.
