Ingredients
  • 8 Chicken drumsticks skin removed and trimmed
  • 2 Head garlic cloves
  • ½ teaspoon Salt divided
  • 3 tablespoon Olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Freshly ground pepper
  • 2 teaspoon All-purpose flour
  • 1⁄3 cup White wine
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1⁄3 cup Fresh chives or scallion green chopped
Instructions
  1. Firstly smash the garlic cloves and cut it into halves.

  2. Now take a bowl, add the chicken drumstick and sprinkle with ¼ teaspoon salt and pepper.

  3. Then heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  4. Add the garlic and stir it until it begins to brown, for about 2 minutes.

  5. Then remove it from the pan.

  6. Now add the chicken drumstick to the pan and stir-fry it until its browned on one side, for about 4 minutes.

  7. Turn it over and add the garlic to the pan.

  8. Put the wine and cook it for 1 minute more.

  9. Then take a bowl and whisk together the chicken broth, Dijon mustard, ¼ teaspoon salt and the flour.

  10. Add the mixture to the pan and let it cook by reducing the heat to simmer.

  11. Now cover the pan and cook until the chicken is cooked through and tender, for about 10 minutes.

  12. When it turns thick, switch off the flame and sprinkle with chives or scallion greens.

SERVE
  1. The garlic chicken is ready to serve hot.

  1. This garlic chicken is very simple, though has a mild garlic flavor with tender chicken. If you which you can serve this garlic chicken with mashed potatoes, Sautéed Green Beans or with Grilled Veggies.
