We all love them! Isn’t so? You can’t blame that only kids love them, admit it. It’s okay if you don’t want to admit it aloud.:) Crispy edges, soft centers will make you will feel good about eating them. Once you try this, you will never go back to the restaurants. Ingredients
  • 2 lbs (900 gram) Russet potatoes
  • Vegetable / peanut oil for frying
  • Sea salt for sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic salt
Instructions
  1. Peel and rinse the potatoes well.

  2. Cut each potato lengthwise into 4 or 5 pieces.

  3. Then cut each piece into thin sticks.

  4. NOTE

    The thinner they are, crispier they will be.

  5. Place the potato sticks into a large bowl with cold water.

  6. Allow them to soak for 2 to 3 hours.

  7. When you are ready to make the fries, stain the water and lay the potatoes on 2 baking sheets lined with paper towel.

  8. Blot the potato sticks with paper towels to dry.

  9. Now heat few tablespoon of vegetable oil to 300⁰ F in a large skillet or deep fryer.

  10. NOTE

    The trick to French fries is deep frying so provide enough oil while frying.

  11. While the oil is heating shift the garlic salt, onion salt, sea salt and paprika into a large bowl.

  12. Mix the potato sticks into the mixture and then place in the hot oil.

  13. NOTE

    The potato sticks must be placed into the skillet one at a time or they will clump together.

  14. Fry the potato sticks until they are golden brown and crispy.

  15. Now remove the French fries from the oil and drain it with a paper towel.

SERVE
  1. Place it on a tray and serve it hot and crispy.

  1. This fries would be the perfect for a Big Juicy Burger, Sandwiches or Queso at the summertime cookout or refreshment. All that is left is to dip in some ketchup and Mayonnaise Dip or BBQ Ketchup.
