Accessing your account

How to create an account? 

Social sign-in is here which will offer a lot of exciting features for the Best Recipes audience in the future.

If you choose not to login via social media, you will need to use your email address and existing password.

You will then need to enter your Username and Name along with a password to complete your profile within the ‘registration’ process. If you don’t do this, your form will show error.

My password isn’t working

Please try resetting your password via the ‘forgot your password’ link and then follow the prompts. Please note the reset email will expire after 60 minutes. When choosing your new password, please enter at least 8 characters from at least 3 different character groups e.g uppercase, lowercase, numbers, special characters.

If you are still experiencing issues, could you please send an email to [email protected] including a screenshot of the issue, so that we can help you further.

I can’t remember my password, how do I reset this?

I can’t remember my email, can you tell me what it is? 

If you have forgotten your email, please send an email to the team at [email protected] stating your username. You will need to provide us with the username linked to your account so that we can confirm your email address.

I have had an account with All Foods Recipes for a long time, but when I try to log in, it’s asking me to register?

As we have recently updated our sign-in process, we require all users to update their details.  Please enter your Username and Name and any other details, and click submit. Once this has been completed, you will be able to access your existing account with all of your saved recipes.

I can’t see a login field on the login/sign up page.

You will need to ensure that javascript and flash are enabled on your browser.  This allows the login field to generate on screen. If this is enabled and it is still not working, we recommend using the latest version of the Chrome browser. Follow this link to install this on your desktop, tablet or mobile. You can also try by clearing the cookies and cache option once.

Please ensure you set Chrome as your default browser, once this is installed.

I have tried all of the above and it still doesn’t work!

Saving recipes

How do I save a recipe?

Every recipe on the site can be saved and organized into personal collections of folders in your own recipe book. To save just click the on the save Add to Wishlist, located directly underneath the recipe description. You will be able to access your listed recipes from the Wishlist option in the main menu or under My Account tab.

Where do I find recipes I’ve saved?

Recipes are saved in your private recipe books. To access your personal recipe book, members need to first login. Then you will be able to access your listed recipes from the Wishlist option in the main menu or under My Account tab. If you need any help, please send an email to [email protected] and we would be happy to guide you.

I’m not finding any recipes that I’ve saved?

It is the fact that you have not created an account with us and now you are operating from a different browser or you have cleared your cache and cookies of your browser. So the saved recipes have been removed from the browser memory. Hence we suggest you create an account with us to use the best features.

How do I print a recipe?

You don’t need to be logged in to your All Foods Recipes account to print a recipe. Just click the Print button located in the recipe description.

How do I add one of my recipes?

You can add your original recipes to our Upload page. We will then go through your recipe all publish it. Please give us a time of 1 week to do the proceedings. Also, remember to provide a picture of the recipe else your recipe will be rejected.

Where do I find the latest recipes? 

You can find the latest recipes shared by home cooks and the Best Recipes team in two places. You can find a full list of all recipes published within the last 90 days on our Latest Recipes page under the Recipes index. There’s a carousel at the bottom of the homepage shows the 15 most recently submitted recipes.

How do I search for recipes? 

There is a search bar located at the top of every page, just type your desired recipe name. The new site is designed to be responsive – this means it adjusts to the display you are using and may look different on different computers and tablets. The search results will return with the most relevant and popular recipes and related collections.

 

Reviews

How do I make a comment or share a review of a recipe? 

The comment/review section is at the bottom of each recipe. You can leave a comment with what you thought of the recipe, any changes you made or would make next time and a star rating (1-5). We ask that our home cooks be polite and factual when sharing their opinions on recipes. Our editorial team reserve the right to remove or edit comments that breach our terms and conditions.

How do I edit a recipe or a review that I have shared? 

If you’d like to make some changes to a recipe or a review that you have submitted, you can send an email to team at [email protected]. Please include your username, the recipe name, the URL of the recipe and the details of changes you would like made.

 

Subscriptions

How do I opt for the All Foods Recipes newsletter? 

You can always subscribe to our newsletter by fill the Mailing List form to get the latest options. Also, do remember to save our email id in your mail service provider to receive all our emails in your inbox.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

Please scroll to the bottom of the newsletter and click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link. You will be redirected to a page which specifies that you are now unsubscribed.

You can subscribe to our push notification service by allowing us when a push notification permission is requested to you. Also, you can subscribe to our push notification service anytime by clicking on the bell icon located at the bottom left of your screen.
