- 3 cups Cooked shredded chicken
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 10 oz (280 gram) Cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup Self-rising flour
- ½ teaspoon Pepper
- ½ cup Butter melted
- 1 cup Buttermilk well shaken
Pre-heat the oven to 425° F or 210° C.
Now put the Cooked Chicken in a 2-quart casserole dish.
Then combine the Broth and Cream of Chicken Soup in a medium saucepan and boil it.
Now pour the broth mixture over the chicken.
In a separate medium bowl, mix flour with the pepper.
Now add butter and buttermilk and stir it well.
Then pour the mixture over the casserole and smooth the top.
Now bake the casserole until the crust is brown and the filling beneath it is hot and bubbly; it will take around 45 minutes.
Your hot chicken pie is ready to serve.
