Party season is on and what better way to celebrate your parties than with chicken nuggets. What can I say about them? They are so simple, ubiquitous and such a steady refreshment. I first had these chicken nuggets at my city restaurant and from my first meeting, I fell in love with them. I know you will wanna be totally selfish about these chicken nuggets. Ingredients
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 8 Chicken thighs skinned and de-boned
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Fresh chives finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic flavored hot pepper sauce
  • 1 Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly grounded black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 cup Flour for dredging
  • 3 Eggs beaten
  • 2 cups Breadcrumbs
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, marinate the chicken in buttermilk.

  2. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator overnight.

  3. Now drain and discard the buttermilk from the marinated chicken.

  4. Then heat oil in a deep fryer.

  5. In a food processor, combine the marinated chicken, egg, chives, parmesan, soy sauce, garlic flavored hot sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  6. Blend them until a smooth paste is formed, for about 1 minute.

  7. Now make about 2” by 1” nuggets, lining them up on a baking tray.

  8. Then take 3 shallow bowls.

  9. In the first bowl add the flour.

  10. In the second add the beaten egg.

  11. In the third bowl add the breadcrumbs.

  12. Now coat the nuggets firstly in flour, then in egg and thirdly in bread crumbs and place the nuggets back on the tray.

  13. Then deep fry them in small batches until golden brown, for about 5 minutes.

ALTERNATIVE
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet and fry them turning every 2 minutes, for about 10 minutes.

SERVE
  1. Your crispy, crunchy chicken nuggets are ready for a juicy bite.

  1. These chicken nuggets are so juicy, crispy and crunchy that you can hear crackling sound with every bite. Everyone is bound to fall in love with them because of their taste and shape. It’s a great party food; you can prepare it in advance and just fry it before serving. I love to serve them with Potato Salad or Green Salad for the main meal and also with Sweet Chili Mayo. You can also combine the mustard, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl and serve as a dipping sauce with them.
