Ingredients
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 lb (900 gram) Fresh blueberries
  • ¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh lemon juice
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, add half the blueberries with the sugar, salt, and lemon juice and heat it over medium heat.

  2. Now stir the blueberries until they are broken down and the sugar got dissolved, for about 5 minutes.

  3. Then stir in the remaining blueberries and cook them until they burst open, for about 2 minutes more.

  4. Remove it from the heat and serve immediately or let it cool and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

  1. It’s a very simple ice cream topping or you can say a simple sauce for topping scoop ice cream, pancakes, waffles and have a sweet and savory treat for your dessert. And it’s a very refreshing ice cream topping for the presence of fresh blueberries.
