Ingredients
  • ½ lb (225 gram) Homemade pizza crust at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Extra virgin olive oil plus more for brushing
  • 1⁄3 cup + 2 tablespoon Barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup Cooked boneless chicken breast
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • Freshly grounded black pepper to taste
  • 2⁄3 cup Smoked gouda cheese grated
  • 2⁄3 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ Small red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Pepperoncini peppers sliced
  • Fresh cilantro for topping
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350⁰ F or 175⁰ C.

  2. Now put the Pizza Crust on a medium baking sheet.

  3. Spread the crust with barbeque sauce and top with Cooked Chicken, gouda cheese, mozzarella cheese, red onion and the pepperoncini pepper.

  4. Now bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. NOTE

    Before the last minute, move the oven rack to the top rack for browning the edges.

SERVE
  1. Top the hot pizza with fresh cilantro. Slice the pizza and serve immediately.

  1. I have ditched the delivery guy and I’m eating the homemade pizza tonight. The flavor and texture of this pizza are incredible. The fleshy chicken, zesty red onions, smoky gouda and soft crusty – crispy edges make me feel ultra-cheesy. You can store the leftover pizza by covering tightly in the refrigerator and reheat as you prefer. Baked pizza slices may be frozen up to 1 month.
