Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ cup Buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Finely chopped toasted pecan plus more for serving
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 cup Ripe bananas mashed
  • Banana slices for serving
  • Maple syrup for serving
  • ¼ cup Butter
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, add flour, pecan, baking powder, baking soda, salt and brown sugar.

  2. Stir them very well together.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together Buttermilk, eggs, banana, and butter.

  4. Add the flour mixture to buttermilk mixture and stir it until just combined.

  5. Now heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  6. Then add butter and let it get melted.

  7. Pour ¼ cup batter for each pancake on the skillet.

  8. Fry them until tops are covered with bubbles and edges look dry, for about 3 minutes.

  9. Now turn on the other side and fry until plump and cooked through, for about 3 minutes.

  10. Then on a baking sheet, place the pancakes in a single layer and keep them warm at 175° F or 75° C, for 30 minutes.

SERVE
  1. Once it is done, place the pancake on the plate and serve them with maple syrup, banana slices, and toasted pecans.
